Breach and potentially Polyhydramnios (extra fluid)

Anybody in the same boat or already gone through the same? I’m currently 34+4 and baby is still breach and my last belly measurement was large so now have to go for a growth scan and glucose test! Non stop worry and waiting for appointments to come through! My midwife said about trying to turn the baby myself through exercises etc but to wait to check my fluid levels on my scan first. I’m just so worried that baby won’t turn in time 😩 Anybody experienced this, how did it all go?

With my first boy I had extra fluid he was also quite large i didn't find out about the extra fluid until I have reducded movements when I got a check up at 41 weeks and they sent me for a ultrasound to be sure. I was advised to have an induction the next day after my scan x

Thank you! I was told I had extra fluid with my first but the next week I was told I didn’t, so not sure how it will plan out this time 😅x

Hopefully it's all ok for you i had a large amount extra with my little boy so they wanted to be careful xx

I'm currently 36 weeks, I had a scan on Thursday and the same but the baby lying diagonal with head down but classed as transverse. Extra fluid also. I've had a blood test this morning for GD so will see what the results are. I have an appointment for an ECV next Monday. This last week my emotions have been all over. Trying not to get too worked up and what will be but was hoping to avoid a section, so will see.

@Rebecca thank you! I really hope I don’t get to the stage of needing a ECV but I just feel like I’m lost waiting round for my appointments to come through so I can actually know what is happening etc! Good luck with your ECV I hope it all works out and you get the delivery you want!! Xx
