Period pants for the heavy flow days/overnight, then reusable cotton pads for the rest.
I used to use a menstrual cup but now I just use period underwear.

A few months ago I tried out the period underwear and I'm happy with them so far! Before that I used a combination of pads and tampons but mostly pads. It seems like tampons make me cramp worse.

Pads mostly, but use together with tampon on heavier days.

Cup for life. Wish I'd started using one ten years ago! The physical symptoms of my period totally vanished and I can't feel the cup at all.
Tampons with pads for extra protection depending on flow and that days plans. If its a lazy at home day, just pads though.
