Nursery room—the amount of times you get up at night & having to walk to a different room is beyond me lol Crib/bassinet—we ended up co-sleeping I have so much more to say on this but that’d be for like a pod lol
Useless: changing table Useful: wooden playpen with adjustable heights
We didn’t use the crib we have, ended up bed sharing. Shame me idc. But the crib is useful now that he’s crawling and standing I put him in when I’m changing in the room also I love my changing table I couldn’t imagine not using it. The crib mobile I ended up putting on the changing table still useful at 11m. & definitely a good big cushion play mat. Wish mine was bigger but still use it now. Skip smaller clothes unless you want specific pictures. Can’t get smaller but they’ll only get bigger. Ended up not pumping exclusively bf so for me I got a bunch of rando crap but I’ll save them just in case I don’t get lucky next time. That stupid donut thing was helpful for like 2 months I guess then it was just an extra pillow. Rocking chair is amazing.
My baby was born in November and came out as a hot natured lil lady plus came out really long. With that being said she despises footies and most didn’t fit and hates socks but LOVED lil hats. So opt to get a footless jumpers/jammies options. I really loved my baby book and nice short BREATHABLE rode (I wear it 24/7 after labor) that my great granny bought me. Get a GOOD diaper bag with lots of pockets! Also get a mini portable fan or two I was extremely hot natured (unlike my normal self as I am cold natured) the first 6 weeks PP! Don’t be too hard on yourself in the first few weeks post labor! Do what you need to do in order to keep mama and baby safe and happy and fed. BF didn’t work about between me and my baby tore me APART but my MIL with 5 boys told me 2 of her 5 boys couldn’t BF and they are still so intelligent and their bond between them and her are not any different from the other that were breastfed.
