Low heart rate

I just had my dating scan and at 7 weeks baby’s heart rate is measuring low (92bpm), measuring a week behind. The internet tells me this means unlikely survival. Feeling quite down about it, has anyone had success stories with a low fetal heart rate?

I had my bub measuring a week behind with slow heart rate, once he got to 20 weeks it’s seemed to correct by itself, sending you love i know how hard this can be 🩷🩷

Thank you, that makes me feel better. What advice/diagnosis were you given in 1st trimester?

At his morphology scan it was discovered he had a Tricuspid Value Regurgitation, it sounds so scary but all it meant was one tiny flap in his heart wasn’t opening/closing properly. This was monitored by fornightly ultrasounds ( we are from rural nsw, so monitoring was the only option beside being referred to the nepean) Once i got to 20 weeks the problem has resolved itself as it does 80% of the time, I still went and had ultrasounds done with the peadiatric heart specialist at nepean just to be certain that it was resolved. I didn’t have to have anymore scans after that, I did have a note on my birthing chart that my son needed to be checked by the paediatric surgeon immediately after birth to follow up for any murmurs. This is such a scary time but i truly am wishing the best for you 🩵🩷 feel free to message me if you have any more questions xx

Thank you. I have a scan next Monday which I feel will be the longest week ever. I will reach out if I have any further questions. X

let me know how it goes, you will be in our prayers the next week 🫶🏽
