I feel in your boat my boy doesn't say anything really. He's 18m and my hv is referring me to a baby group that may help with it. Before therapy st 2 x he's only jsut started walking so he was very borderline as being a delayed walker too xx. They all Flourish in there own time
My son has been in speech since 18m It has nothing to do with you! Genetics play a role and some kids are just late talkers. My son still isn’t talking fully. He also lost words and that’s what qualified him for speech therapy.
Don’t feel guilty at all! I have a feeling my son will need the same, I find it hard not to compare when his cousins (same age) know so many more words and shapes/ colours/ numbers but then I remember my brother was exactly the same as my son at this age and he had speech language therapy and he’s turned out just right so I’m not stressed, it’ll come when it comes 🫶🏼
Don’t feel Guilty! My little boy has been referred to a group speech therapy and the ladies that runs it said that they’ll speak in their own time, it’s all about patience and get down to their level and repeat phrases and words, you’ll notice a difference once therapy starts and it’ll shock you, but definitely don’t blame yourself as every baby is different xx
