Private growth scan

Honestly we couldn’t see much on our 36 week scan so me personally I wouldn’t pay for a private one xx

I’ve had nhs scans at 32 34 and 35 weeks for various reasons - honestly you can’t see anything really because their features are so big now! If you really want to know the percentile for some reason I’m sure they could measure it but given they’re notoriously inaccurate I wouldn’t pay for it - would it bring you reassurance or potentially unnecessary worry? X

Totally agree I've had 3 growth scans and like others have said they are not clear now baby is bigger, even more so if head is down too. I personally wouldn't waste the money xx

I personally wouldn't waste your money I've had growth scans this time and you can't see hardly anything as the baby is quite big they will only check weight and that everything has fully formed and grown like organs etc. You can't see hardly anything my babies classed as small baby and even at at the 32 weeks and 2 days one couldn't see hardly anything, managed to see he had hair and that things wer growing perfectly but couldn't see much and told I wotn see much at my 36 week one next week either. Just to check everything had grown and no issues and check his weight I wouldn't waste your money tbh it isn't long till their here x

I’ve had growth scans at 28 and 32 weeks and I'm having my last one at 36 weeks- my consultant said it's harder to see things clearly after that since babies are so big and measurements get less accurate. If you're curious about the weight, that's totally fine, perhaps, just don't expect all the cute images like you saw earlier on! X

I’ve had growth scans and agree with all of the above, you literally can’t see anything the babies are that big 🙈. They just tell you the weight and have a good look at baby’s organs and the bloody flow to the placenta but you don’t get to see them like you did at your 20 week scan xxx

Try to use grow2 app where they mark the growth Although it is approximate but very close to the actual scan results. Ive been measured by midwives and the grow2 app is showing quite similar to what came up in my growth scan.
