We went for the silver cross motion 2, I believe it's had the highest score for safety and goes up to age 12

@Rebecca no it's done the Adac test as it is a rear and forward facing car seat and swedish is a test for rear facing only, swedish also is for front hits, ADAC tests side hits as well and a more comprehensive test. So it's each to their own if they want a rear facing and then to upgrade again later, it's up to parents to do their own research and decide what they are looking for. I am extremely happy with my choice of car seat thanks and did my own research when I chose it so no it is not a terrible seat thanks! You really shouldn't put down another mother on her choice of car seat with comments like that! We all want the safest for our children and I don't expect to be put down for my choice and told I could have done better!
@Rebecca you are failing to realise I didn't ask for your opinion on my choice of car seat. Someone asked for everyone's opinion on what seats they had chose not for you to put down those choices. And there's always something better depending on what you are looking for and every source will have a different opinion on what is best. Your message to me has just put off every mother from saying on this post what they chose as a car seat as it seems only your opinion matters and they put themselves at risk of you telling them as well their car seat isn't good enough! Something no mother deserves to hear! Maybe keep your opinions to yourself in future, every mother is trying to do their best and they don't need people like you to put them down!
I've got an axkid spinkid, which my girly will fit in until around 5. Make sure to look at Swedish plus tested seats as these are the safest. Brands such as Axkid, britax, avionaut x
Thanks ladies, after much research the AXKID looks great. It’s both Swedish tested and R129 compliant and JL have £100 off!
We went to an axkid move kid they’re just about to be discontinued . There is a replacement for it though. Join car seat safety UK on fb. Make sure you get a Swedish plus tested seat x
