I'd try nurseries rather than pre schools at this time. But those might be busy too. Are you looking for term time only, which is why you're looking for a pre school setting?
@Jess I was thinking preschool only so that he could transition into reception etc. I would like him to be off for term time so we can do things together still.

In that case, go and ask at the pre-schools for the school you'd like to attend! Some nurseries do term time only options e.g. Russell hill
Thank you! I have applied for my top 4 and have gotten a space at a least preferred. Hopefully he will be able to at some point move to our preferred choice

It really depends, you'll have to call different ones. But I would be very quick. Our nursery's preschool is full till September 2026😬
