IUD Moving out of place

I currently have a mirena IUD but for the past several months I have had a lot of irregular bleeding and cramping on just my left side. I was dismissed by several doctors about it but luckily I was finally able to get an ultrasound done and the results read this: “IMPRESSION: 1. Intrauterine device positioned 0.8 cm from the uterine fundus. IUD placement greater than 0.4 cm from the fundus has been associated with increased likelihood of symptoms such as pain and bleeding as well as expulsion. In some cases, contraceptive efficacy may be compromised. Consider repositioning.” Those results were listed in my patient portal this weekend and I have yet to hear anything from my doctor about it. Has anyone else had results like this? What did you do? Did you get it taken out? How serious could this be?
