Baby screeching

Does anyone else’s baby screech as a form of communication? My LO will do an ear piercing screech that sounds like a baby dinosaur when she’s trying to tell me something! Like she wants to play with something she can see, or she’s hungry etc… Google says it’s normal… but is it really? 😂 It is LOUD! She’s smiling when she’s doing it too. Which makes me think it’s an attention thing? We’re going on a 6 hour train ride on Friday and I just have mental images of my LO screaming the whole time lol
