20 week scan
Can anyone who has had their 20 week scan yet share anything on what to expect? How long is the appointment, what do they check for etc? Feeling nervy about it and would love to feel prepped!

We had ours Tuesday! Was such a lovely scan. It’s a bit more in depth and they check all limbs, heart, head, measurements. Felt just like the 12 week one just took a bit longer and more in depth!
Like the others have said head to to check and lots of scans of babys heart, if they can't get good angles of baby aswell they'll ask you to shuffle your bum or go for a wee x
I was there for 15 minutes, luckily it was easy for them to get all the necessary checks
Had mine today was there a little while compared to first scan as our little girl wouldn’t move so they could measure length of spine so had scan then had to walk around for 20 minutes before going back in luckily managed to get it second go xx

We had ours yesterday. We were in for about 20 to 25 mins. They were checking measurements, that all vital organs were there and that the heart was flowing blood round correctly etc. Basically a head to toe check. Also, obvs the option of finding out the gender. Our sonographer was lovely so despite us feeling apprehensive, she really helped x
