Activities for kids
My kindergartner is struggling with behavior at school. He's refusing to participate or pay attention. Participation in fine motor skills gets the most refusal (an area he struggles with) and academic work (where he's advanced) is where he's the most inattentive. Struggling with how to support from home.
He is dealing with a lot right now. I started work when he went back to school so he's seeing a lot less of me pretty suddenly. AND I'm pregnant with twins (which he's excited for, but it's still a big change for a little guy). Just.....feeling the mom guilt right now. Wish I had any idea what to do.

My son started Kindergarden a month ago. Come to find out by questioning incomplete worksheets in his folder that he does not do any classwork. So i asked to sit in and observe and the teacher was right he sat at his desk did not reach for a pencil or even look at the assignment handed out. He just sat there shaking his hands while others did their work and when the teacher went up to him to ask him to do his work he turns his head away and says no. I leave the classroom and cry my eyes out on the way home. Why was my son acting this way? At home he is very happy and sings, dances and he will do his homework. I cant wrap my head around this behavior. and the second week into school the phychologist calls me in to say he observed my son and believes he might have a developmental delay and would like to get him evaluated ..never once said my son is sitting at his dsk doing nothing and shaking his hands. So i am still currently waiting to get results of that evaluation going on over a month but finally got a date for a meeting...but last week was grandparents day and my sons dad took his grandmother and they got to go sit with my sons in. his class......guess what happened...my son did his assignments , ibteracted and talked, played with his classmates and ever danced with them. only while his dad and grandmother was there. His teacher was suprised to see him know how to write and spell his first and last name. the next day teacher tells me he isnt talking, following instructions or doing any classwork. Does anyone know why this could be happening, or is going through the same issue? when i ask my son why he wont do his classwork he responds its boring and school is weird. or he is scared of school. Everyday is so hard for me to have to think while he is there he is scared and not doing anything. its killing me. But he did tell me he is running in circles with a couple classmates at recess now so thats a plus in the socializing direction. I dont think its a learning disability because he knows how to do the work at home he just will not do it in class..its torn me apart to try to understand and i cant wait til i can get sone answers in 3 weeks but until then im drowning in sadness and unable to think clearly. oh he also has started taking tantrums bad ones when ge gets home from school and when he doesnt get his way he slaps me and pushes me away and screams he hates me.wtf !! any guidence or opinions are greatly approciated.

My son started kindergarden last month and I'm already having major doubts about his school. I need some guidance.
