I'm new to Peanut and unless I'm missing something, there aren't groups for people by location. It's all very well if you want to read and chat about a specific topic, but that doesn't help meet people in your area. I know you can wave, but a lot of people can't see waves, and messaging strangers fills me with the same kind of anxiety I used to get from Tinder 🤣 As such, I thought I'd create this - inspired by my sister-in-law who, from Peanut, made a group of friends who met when they had small babies, but now a couple of years later, still have play dates as well as baby-free wine nights and spa days. Maybe this will lead to one-off walks to fill an otherwise empty day, lasting friendships, or somewhere in between - who knows! I live near Stonehouse but would be willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet up. If you're keen on meeting - whether it's for walks, coffee, or whatever, let me know ☀️💓☕
