I’d love to meet up once a week at greenlake with other newborn mamas looking to get some steps in.

Hi Seattle peeps! How have you all navigated finding a pediatrician? I grew up going to a family doctor that saw every member of my family and it seems that’s super hard to come by these days. I’ve mostly been in the Swedish network since moving to Seattle but even with their doctor search it seems like no one is taking new patients. I’m also in South Seattle which seems to have way fewer options than north of lake union. Any tips or recommendations?

Edit to add: I’m actually calling clinics to availability! They don’t even seem to offer waitlists. Found some availability in Ballard or further north but trying to avoid a 40 min drive for every appointment. Is that unrealistic these days? If anyone is in South or West Seattle and has a doc they like, please let me know!

I wanted to ask for some ideas and advice — what are your plans for New Year’s Eve this year? Are there any kid-friendly activities or places you’d recommend for a 3-year-old?

We’re in Seattle, and this is our first time doing New Year’s Eve with a toddler, so we’re trying to figure out what works best. Whether it’s an early countdown, something low-key and family-friendly, or just staying in — I’d love to hear what other families usually do!

Anyone have experience or know of a great place to go for midwife services. I would like to go this route with my second one.
