We don’t have much of a family or friend group and my daughter has always wanted a birthday party. We have parties for my son, who is 10 years old because he has classmates and his father’s family comes but we don’t have anyone for my daughter. She’s homeschooled since she prefers that, therefore we don’t have any classmates to invite.

It’s really odd to ask in such a public forum, but do any of you mommies have daughters around this age group that is willing to come? Last year we had a birthday party for her and it was just our family of four. We had another baby so it’ll just be a family of five this year if nobody comes. Our daughter cried last year because she felt like nobody liked her and didn’t come to her party.

Hey guys I moved here out with my husband’s family and living with them. My MIL is now making it a big deal for caring for my baby (after we asked her if she’s ok watching my child so I can start working / going full time) she agreed. Lately she’s now complaining that’s she’s not able to do what she needs to do in her day to day life (she watches him only 6 hours a day 5 days a week sometimes 4) we’ve offered hiring someone to watch him 2-3 days out of the week. But she refuses. We offered finding a day care she refuses that as well. I leave the same hours everyday and lately she’s been making it difficult to take over care where it’s making me late to work. Which we’ve talked to her about (but blames me taking “too long” to get ready. I’m always done on time) my rant / question is where can I look for a baby sitter that can watch my kid 6 hours a day for 4 sometimes 5 days a week at home? Any advice is welcomed.

Side note: yes we’ve brought it up multiple times mainly my husband because he knows how to speak to his mother and I’m always blamed for it. And he defends to some extent because I told him to hold back because I don’t want to risk loosing her watching my child.

Does anyone want baby boy clothes 0-3 months? I have a lot of onesies and socks😭 Gonna donate on Monday if no one picks up. 😭
