Rochester

I’m 35 weeks, FTM and I’m still indecisive about where I’d like to deliver. I toured all of the L&D units in the Rochester area but I’m so unsure. I’m leaning towards Unity although RGH’s new unit is gorgeous, I’m more interested in being treated properly than fancy rooms so the best of both worlds would be great!

Please share your experiences and help a girl out! 🫶🏾

I’m expecting to give birth soon and haven’t chosen a pediatrician yet. I’ve been researching practices, but so far none feel like the right fit, mainly because many strongly enforce vaccination schedules. I’m looking for a vaccine friendly pediatrician or practice that is willing to respect parental choice regarding which vaccines to give, without judgment or pressure.

If anyone can recommend a pediatrician or pediatric group that is open, respectful, and supportive of informed decision making, I would truly appreciate it.

I’m currently staying in Rochester because I had a baby at 23 w and 4 days, I will be here until she comes home, so probably for months. My partner goes back on his deployment the 29th and I could really use friends so I’m not just stressed out in a NICU 24/7.
