This might sound silly but is there any way I can enforce my sons father to actually care for our son. We have joint custody but only because of child support. But I’m furious because he doesn’t actually literally care for him. His hygiene is incredibly awful. Wears the same exact underwear for the 4 days he’s with him. His socks reek and has dirt under his toenails and fingernails. And on top of all that his breath smells and my son tells me that his dad doesn’t have a toothbrush for him or makes him brush his teeth. And as for eating habits just straight junk food the whole time he’s there which is not good at all because my son suffers from severe constipation but his dad doesn’t follow the doctors instructions to help him alleviate it. I’m concerned for my child’s health. Is there anything I can do ?

My second born will be 6 months next week and I can’t remember for the life of me, but what were the milestones that he should be achieving by 6 months? I think he has most of them except for the sitting up independently and making a lot of baby sounds.

Does anyone have recommendations or thoughts on where to find a date night/ evening outing sitter. Looking for HS/college kids to "sit" while I make dinner or get a workout--In or around the Oak Park area? Just trying to build a network.

I’m open for whatever! Play dates, hikes, light workouts, girls nights, talks on the phone,and other random stuff! In serious need of more mama friends!
