Hi there! I just separated from the father of my children about 3 days ago and I am still adjusting to being a single mom. It’s become quite lonely and draining being a single mom. I could really use some mom friends who relate and set up hangouts and/or play dates for our kids. I have a very social 18 month old boy and a 1 month old girl. I look forward to connecting with other mamas and making some now friends! ❤️

Hi everyone, I’m a single mom currently in Portland and I have no idea how to find a sitter. Usually I use sitter city (I can’t use care, they kicked me off for changing my profile from offering when I was in college to now needing) and FB groups but both giving me NOTHING and I need a sitter starting tomorrow 9am-1pm and a few other days the same time. I’m really stressing as my jobs been understanding but now I have deadlines! Or does anyone know open drop offs? Or have a nanny they would share? I also don’t have a car tomorrow and wanted the babysitter to get my son and take him out to play. It’s suddenly very urgent 😞

So, my baby shower was on Saturday and my baby daddy was nice and sweet the whole day but for some reason after it hit 9pm he was anxious to leave and I just had a feeling something wasn’t right. the night ended and he told me he wanted to break up with me because I’m not enough and that he’s not attracted to me. Days pass and he goes to the river with his friends and he posted two girls on his social media I immediately went to find him and he got drunk and fell asleep. I found out he was talking to two other girls.. and it got me so mad. I messaged them both and he ended up finding out I saw his phone . anyways he doesn’t want to be with me still because he says he needs time to be able to like me again.
