Hi all,
I don't know where to start. Right now, I'm lost and just confused.
I tested positive on the 17th of June with my 3rd. My previous 2 were all good and normal. For the past few weeks, I felt like something was off, and a sac couldn't be seen. I went for a private scan yesterday morning for them to tell me they saw something next to my left fallopian tube, I ended up going to EPU, and they confirmed an ectopic (which broke me).
They gave me 3 options 1) Wait and see if it will deal with it's self. But the consultant doesn't recommend that cause my Hcg is still very high. 2) methotrexate- This is a 95% success rate and 5% chance not working and then having to go for the surgery route. Or 3) having surgery- which my mind is telling me to have, but I'm scared of what will happen in the future.
I just want success stories and have an understanding before I go back tomorrow with my set decision.
If someone can share that, that would be amazing!
Apologies for the long post
