Making friends

Let’s be friends 💖

Hey mummas! I’m pretty new to Ballarat we recently moved here from Perth. I’m 28 and have 3 kids, a boy in pre primary, girl in kindy and another baby girl attached to me! Since the two older kids are at school most week and I’m home with Lilly things are getting pretty lonely not knowing anyone, so I’ve decided to put myself out there and hopefully try make some new like minded friends 🥰 I’m trying to find myself more now I’m away from all of my family besides just being a mum, although the littlest one doesn’t give me the time for much else at the moment 😅

I’m a home body and can be fairly quiet at first, I’d like to think I’m pretty down to earth and easy going. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, watching movies and tv series, I’ve just started getting into reading and I also love sewing! I started making baby clothes when my son was born in 2019 which turned into a small business but I haven’t been active with that the last year or so since our move and baby.

Feel free to message me for a chat 😊

Doctors

Hi All,

I am needing a great doctor for myself and Bub and I’m at a loss. I have trouble trusting doctors as I have had too many appointments where the medical issue haven’t been addressed and I’ve been charged. Or I’ve been called in to review blood tests and there has been nothing of concern. My doctor today was 35 minutes late, walked past me waiting like 5 times with no acknowledgment and when I went in she said oh, your results are all normal, thanks for coming, here is a $103 fee.

I need a doctor that is a professional, on time, works well with bubs, knows women’s health and is personable.

Anxiety

How does one avoid the anxious thoughts and anxiety that comes with motherhood. First baby was born during covid and I became very set on sleep for him almost obsessive with nap timing to avoid it causing anxiety, would avoid asocial outings or anything really if it fell at nap times or bed time. I don’t want to do that this time around, second baby is 7 weeks old. And I think I’ve done well so far to ignore the anxious thoughts and push through. And I definitely feel better for it, including getting to social events and enjoying life. But this week those negative anxious thoughts have started to crept back in. How can I stop this from taking over me and getting out of my head, I already try meditation, exercise and therapy but it still feels like it’s starting to take over
