Good news circle time is a very special time between teacher and students, it builds trust and relationships and a sense of family. We always start school out with something called good news. We sit in a circle and pass a ball around the circle to anyone who wants to share good news. A child's good news is anything from getting a new toy, to beating a level at a video game, to losing a tooth, to getting to spend the weekend at dad's house, to mom getting out of prison. It's important to share good news to focus on the positive parts of our life and help others understand what's important to us. Even as adults we need to think positive thoughts, we are so focused on our kids and our troubles that we forget what makes us happy beyond parenthood, so this group is to help mother's share their good news, whatever it may be outside of our kids. let's take our focus away from motherhood for a minute.
