Mom-to-be in Brossard!

Hi! I’m due with my first son at the end of summer and am looking to meet other moms or moms to be in our area as most of my friends are child free. My main passion/hobby is playing music but I also enjoy any arts, chatting over cocktails, and poorly attempting pasta noodles from scratch 😆

Mon français parlé n’est pas super mais je peux essayer!

Moms on mat leave?

Hey ladies!! Any moms on mat leave and have babies that wanna join for coffee dates and walks in the park, please reach out to me. We can do 1:1 and also with other moms I’ve met.

I’ve been organizing a few get togethers and hoping we can continue into the fall. We all have babies 3-6 months but older or younger we can get together with our babies and support each other.

Also open to some stroller workout buddies. Doesn’t always have to be in groups. Send me a message! Once we have met you we can add ya to our WhatsApp group. 😁😁

Meetups

Meet ups?

Now that the weather is getting warmer, I’m wondering if folks ever do group meet ups in Brossard? Any experience with that?

Breastfeeding

Combo feeding

My 3.5mo is exclusively breastfed. I breastfed with my first for 8 months plus donated for 6 of those.

However, this time around I feel like I have way less time and patience to pump after feedings, in order to create a stash for myself in case I'm out without my baby (4yo's swim class, activities, etc.) I was wondering if anyone else has "supplemented" with formula for those times that baby is with someone else, and how did it go.

She takes a bottle very easily and goes back on the boob without a problem. She also has a dairy intolerance so I'd have to get a special formula (hopefully it will be covered by our insurance). I would obviously pump when I get home so I don't lose my supply, but it's the pumping constantly that I hate this time around.

We have an appointment with her doctor in 2 weeks and I'm going to bring it up then to see what they say.
