Baby sleep

Is it wrong to cuddle with your child until they fall asleep?

My nearly three year old has recently started asking for either myself or her dad to cuddle with her until she falls asleep. She was able to out herself to sleep but at bedtime she says she doesn’t want to be along and she is sad when she is in her bed by herself and she just wants cuddles. I don’t know what to do. Is it bad if we cuddle with her until she falls asleep?

Baby milestones

bilingual kids

i am an Indian mom and my son is 2.6 years old. We speak both Hindi and English at home. We try to speak English more but sometimes Hindi comes up. We are not as fluent as advanced speakers or natives. I am worried for my son. He can speak 2 words at a time but he is not forming sentences. Can any of you also have the same experience? Should we use only one language? how can I help my son in this regard particularly when he doesn't show interest in listening. he is just naughty and want to jump around

Breastfeeding

How to stop breastfeeding, please help!

My youngest son is turning 2 this month and I’ve enjoyed my breastfeeding journey so far as I couldn’t breastfeed with my eldest son. But he’s getting really big now and I’m starting to become really touched out and not feeling like my body is my own and in return feeling quite depressed.

Can anyone help with trying to get my son to stop? He eats and drinks a lot during the day but he’s constantly wanting to be on me aswel. He hardly breastfeeds when we go to bed now I just can’t seem to stop him during the day, I’ve tried distracting him, giving him a drink of something but it doesn’t always work. My mum has had him over night and he was completely fine and didn’t cry once but wanted me the second he seen me.

Please help, sincerely a very exhausted mumma 😩

Baby sleep

Help - can't get my 2 year old to sleep in her room.

Hey ladies, anyone have any tips on how to get your 2 year old to sleep through the night in her bedroom? She's constantly waking up multiple times a night crying and wanting to come in our bed. I recently given birth to my second daughter who's sleeping in our room so it's been a big issue when my 2 year comes crying in the room. My husband has been trying to do some sleep training with her but the problem with that is when she cries so much, she ends up throwing up. Always have done that from the beginning. Anyone of your kids do that? My newborn sleeps better than her and she should be the one giving me no sleep 😂 Please help?
