Anyone else’s 8 week old have quite thick, stringy mucus like sick?

He’s got really bad reflux and his sick varies from straight up milk to like he has started to digest it and it’s as described above and also a slight yellow tinge which my midwife said could a milk allergy as his body has started to digest it but his body is getting rid of it hence the yellow tinge.

Anyone had this and it turned out to be a milk allergy?

We have just been prescribed Aptamil Pepti 1 (waiting for prescription to be delivered).

We currently use Kendamil and batch make them in the rapid cool then pop in the fridge and just use a bottle warmer to heat up.

Are you able to do this with the Aptamil? I don’t have any experience with this sort of milk and I keep seeing mixed things online

Has anyone else had the issue of neocate or gaviscon blocking the bottle teats? My little one is on neocate and gaviscon however it is forming small beads and blocking a size 1 teat (MAM Bottles). I've tried swapping to size 2 teats however it has made her reflux worse and she is projectile vomiting the whole bottle! Has anyone else has this problem before, if so what did you to to help? I have also tried swapping to the tommee tippee advanced anto colic bottle but she is refusing to drink from them.

So my little one was on aptamil from birth premades then powder then started getting bad constipation reflux dry skin generally not happy stopped feeding all together so we swapped to hip great for couple weeks then everything flared up again to this point she was breaking out in hives also so doctors put her on aptamil pepti this made her 100x worse ! To the point she stopped eating again wasn’t pooping so we gave her a bottle of hip as we had some she downed it so doctors put said fine keep her on that if she starts again bring her back n we try something else … few weeks later all this again building up worse it’s ever been ! Never seen my baby scream in pain real tears she’s horrid so doctors put her on neocate …. She’s drinking this but few ounces at a time still hasn’t pooped we are day 5 she’s done two tiny slithers when passing gas but she’s still screaming and crying in pain not being able pass gas … nothing is seeming to work for her and at a loss as we’ve done everything the doctors are prescribing and still she’s really not happy

Baby was on kendamill organic, suffered with colic and constipation... then went onto kendamill comfort. Suffered with white lumps in her poo. Shes been on pepti 1 for 10 days now, her skin is horrendous since being on it. Doctors are useless . Cant get hold of HV ...

Wondering with goats milk being less protein whether to try.

Im putting her back on kendamill organic now, and will have to cope with constipation
