Chores or Relax?

Everyday is a mission with school drop off and pick up and with an infant tagging along with me all day. Chores are piling especially laundry and with the wishful goal, to clear that pile when the kids are asleep.

Here’s the challenge: I’m dead beat by the end of bedtime. And the pile is still there. Husband helps but he’s also dead beat from commuting and helping with bath time.

Any suggestions or ideas will be helpful.

Sleep struggles

Can anyone tell me what they do for sleep with their two year old??

My daughter continuously gets out of bed and screams bloody murder for two hours… every single night. She now started doing it in the morning for an hour too because she β€œdoesn’t want to sleep”

We are pretty strict at bedtime but it’s not helping… the first 2-3 times she gets out of bed we give her water, diaper change etc whatever she requests and then after that simply tell her it’s bed time, tuck her back in bed and walk out. By the time we close the door she is up again

How long does your LO sleep at night?

Hi mamas, how long does your LO sleep at night? We keep pushing bed time to later and later, he fights the bedtime routine so much, so now light out at 8:40, he sleeps at 9pm. He’s usually awake around 7-7:30am. So that gives 10 to 10.5 hrs at night. His nap at daycare is around 1.5 -2 hours so he total around 12 hours a day. I worry that’s not enough sleep for his age. What about your LO?

Toddler sweating from the head at night

Hi, does anyone’s baby sweat a lot from the head? right when sleep begins, his hair is all wet from sweating. This goes on for an hour or so then it stops for the rest of the night. His room temp is 22-22.5C (71F). He wears just a PJ set, and nothing else, but then often wakes up at night perhaps because he’s cold. At night when I check his back, his skin is cool and not warm. I’m not sure what to do, I have try everything, he has a cooling gel mattress, cooling bedsheet, cooling pillow but nothing has helped! We noticed this since he moved to his floor mattress. Previously in the crib we had the Newton mattress, but they don’t sell a bigger version. I also tried putting him back into a 0.5 TOG sleep slack, wearing just short and t shirt inside. He sweats more at the beginning but slept through the night.
