Expat mums living in Spain

We are looking to move to Denia in Spain later this year and will have an 18 month old and 3 month old. For my older boy I want to find out what the childcare options are and what the ‘normal’ thing to do in Spain is? It will just be for a couple of days a week but are nurseries more commonplace or childminders?

Aside from google how do you go about finding the best ones and applying? And how many months before should I be starting that process?

Hi everyone! I moved from the US to a small farm community here in Spain. It looks like on this app the closest mom to me is 90 minutes away so not overly optimistic about an in person meet but it would be awesome if I just had other moms to chat with. My husband works long hours and this town is so small (only 12 kids in the school here) so my social opportunities are really limited. Just me and my daughter all day haha. Any conversation with a person over 6 years old would be welcome. My Spanish is basic so hoping to find another mom that speaks English. I wouldn't mind practicing Spanish together too.
