Speech

Are you toddlers speaking in sentences yet? Mine isn't. He's got about 50 words including numbers, shapes, letters and colours. He can count 1-10 in japanese (we are a bilingual family), and then other random stuff like objects and animals.

He doesnt really make conversation, his only request is to open things for him like bananas and tubs with treats inside ! Lol

What about your kids? I need reassurance!

Nappy changes at daycare

Ok, so I work in a daycare and I just put my daughter in to, she’s not allowed in the same room as me while I’m working as it’s against the policy for the company in case of obvious favouritism. Anyway, they recently changed the policy to do 2 nappy changes (more if pooed obviously) in an entire day, that’s 7.30 until 6, I asked for them to do more for my daughter as personally I don’t think 2 is enough in a day, however they have still only done 2 today. I work there so I don’t want to seem like I’m complaining but I’m also a customer. What are your thoughts on how to go forward and how many nappy changes would you expect your daycare to do for your little?

16 MO Sleep Help 💤

Hi, I’m really struggling with my daughter at the moment and her bedtime / sleeping.

We used to be in a really good routine.. tea, Bath, bottle, teeth, book & bed and she would self settle.

I’m not sure where I went wrong bu basically.. she won’t go down to sleep she just cries hysterically, then if I do manage to get her sleep she keeps waking crying her eyes out for me. She settles as soon as I pick her up.

She would easily fall asleep in my bed or sleep all night in my bed but I don’t want her to get into the routine of that I want her to sleep how she used to 😩

It’s been like this for 4 nearly 5 weeks now making me really emotional and frustrated because I had it down to a T and now I don’t know what to do

Any help or advice please xx

Postpartum Depression Help

I’m anxious and depressed all day. I try to hide it from my husband. He knows I have PPD. I try to be Normal and happy. Sometimes he knows I’m acting too much and says “what’s wrong” I say I don’t know because I’m so anxious. Then I start crying.. He thinks when he looks at me he makes me cry, so he said I’m not going to look at you anymore. We both keep are distance from each other. He doesn’t want me crying and I don’t want to start crying. I guess I start crying when he asks what’s wrong because I want help. I feel like a bad person for being depressed. We can’t even sit at the dinner table together. We can sit at the couch when the tv is on. I guess I want help on how to have him understand d me and I need help with my PPD
