Potty training

Toilet training hurtle ??!

Hey ladies ! Currently in the throws of toilet training my almost 3yo. I would say she is 100% trained but only when she is completely nude from the waist down 😂 Any type of undies, pull up or pants she doesn’t seem to register she needs the bathroom. She is due to go to preschool soon and unfortunately pants are required, any tips for this last step please? 🤍

Baby & toddler food

Toddlers and food

My son is 2.5 years old and he has been eating a variety of foods since he was born. Never the same foods or repetitive foods. But as of a month ago he refuses to eat cheese, egg, any meats. And we haven’t changed his food routine or he isn’t eating more snacks during the day but still he refuses to eat protein pretty much , Is this normal? How long does this phase last and what can I do to encourage him to eat it. He always eats with me and sees me it. Thanks for any help

Baby sleep

2 year old boys and naps

My son is 2 yrs 5 months, lately he has been reluctant to go down for 7pm bed time. We did save our sleep approach and was great, always napped the right time according to his age and slept 12 hours at night. Lately he’s started not to want to go down, getting distressed and only wanting me. The only time recently where he went down easily was when I gave him “rest time” instead of nap time and wondering if maybe it’s just time to skip his nap if he’s travelling ok. I tried shortening the nap and although didn’t take as long to go to sleep there was still a lot crying and not wanting to go bed. I’d prefer we stick to a night time routine and he get a good solid 12 hours at night than to fuss for an hour or so and end up going to bed later. He goes to day care 4 days a week so will ask them to cut the nap short too. He’s also changed rooms and educators this year too so not sure if that has something to do with it. Has anyone had this issue or anyone cut the nap at this age and if so how’s it been going?

Tantrum

My nearly 2 year old came home from daycare and threw the biggest tantrum for a good 30mins… didn’t want to cuddle with either myself or dad, just threw herself on the floor and wanted to keep her distance. 2 mins prior to the tantrum she was beginning to have some dinner so don’t know what triggered her.

Hubby and I felt helpless and let her get her emotions out safely and waited till she was ready for us. Which she was fine afterwards and smashed her dinner.

Any ideas and tactics for next time this happened?
