Travel with kids

Disney World with little ones

Has anyone went to Disney World with two small kids? I have a 2yo and a 5 month old. We do have a double stroller but any additional advice would be helpful!

DISNEYLAND PARIS- HOTEL CHEYENNE REVIEW!!

WOODY’S ROUND-UP

Blog / Review of Hotel Cheyenne at Disneyland Paris.

Something hits a little different when you step out of the taxi to start a Disney adventure.

I don't know if it's the themeing, the staff welcoming you or the smell but stepping into hotel cheyenne for the first time did not disapoint, the strong scent of woodsmoke fills your nostrils whilst Woody is stood there filling children's faces with the biggest smiles!

The check-in process was so easy that the friendly staff had us checked in so quickly. I was given a paper form to fill out with all my details whilst the receptionist checked our passports. Once that was all complete, I was given a resort map & our park tickets, which included our breakfast pass I was also shown where everything was located on the map.

We couldn't access our room straight away, so we were able to check our bags into the baggage room and head straight into the parks. The baggage area is always manned, they put a airport style luggage tag on your bag and give you a little collection ticket you then recieve a text to inform you when your room is ready and your room number!

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk to the parks and you can walk along a beautiful river bank to get there. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you to the Parks but we personally didn't use this service as we quite enjoyed the walk especially as the weather was nice but the bus stop is right outside the hotel entrance.

The Rooms - I loved the themeing of the rooms, everything from the bedding, the curtains to the mirrors, everything was themed. We spent next to no time in the room, so it was ideal space to 'get our heads down' Disney count Infants anything under 3, so Arthur was provided a travel cot, but Arthur is far to big for travel cots now so luckily there was a sofa bed in the room that he could sleep on. You are provided with miniature toy story themed shampoo and bodywash bottles.

The only dislikes I had about the room was how far it was away from the reception and there was no phone in the room, so if you needed anything it was quite difficult to get in contact with them. They also don't provide a kettle or fridge in the room which normally wouldn't be a problem but the hotel wouldn't warm the milk for Arthur so we had no way of heating Arthur's milk and we had nowhere to store shop bought milk. This definitely wouldn't stop me from staying again, but if travelling with small children, be prepared!!

The Breakfast - I personally didn't rate the quality of the breakfast at the hotel. The selection was average, but this could be down to me loving a traditional english fry up in the mornings whilst I'm on holiday 🤣 They have a bread & pastries section, a ceral station, and a warm section which had scrambled egg, chicken sausage, round chips, beans, and streaky bacon. It was enough to keep me ticking over till lunch, but I wouldn't say it was worth the money, and I may even consider going self-catering next time. Top tip - breakfast can get really busy, especially around the 8/9am mark, so arrive early if you want to avoid the queues!!

They have ponies outside the hotel, which you can pay extra for at reception for your child to ride on. Ages 3+ As Arthur was too young, they let him meet and out one, which he was more than happy with.

Other amenities included a laundry room, a bar that served pizzas and other snack food, a gift shop, and a small TV colouring station for the kids.

We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, so we didn't get to explore it properly, but hopefully, it will help if you are planning a trip to Hotek Cheyenne soon!!

Good morning Disney friends! My family is planning a Disney trip for the end of the year, possibly September and my baby Jasmine will be nearly 9 months, any advise on taking a baby to Disney? What to expect what to pack?
