Are maternity wards just as warm during autumn as they are in summer? (Packing hosp bag)

About to go on mat leave with my second and just worked out that childcare costs will be 928 a month for 2 children during term time 😱and 1200 during holidays… working parents how does everyone survive?

I’m wondering if any other mums have been through something similar with their little one starting Reception.

My daughter has recently started Reception and she’s really struggling to settle in. She’s finding the whole change quite overwhelming and it’s been difficult emotionally, especially as she’s also got some health issues which can make things a little harder for her.

As a mum, I’m finding it really difficult seeing her struggle and I’m not sure what’s normal “settling in” and what might be a sign that she genuinely isn’t coping well.

Has anyone else been through a difficult Reception transition? How long did it take your child to settle, and what helped them? ❤️

I’d really love to hear other mums’ experiences, especially if your child had a particularly difficult start.

I am 17 weeks with a baby boy and an anterior placenta, I was just wondering when did other people start to feel babies movements.

I think I’ve been feeling little flutters when I lie on my side.

Has anyone had any experience birthing here? Is it ‘easy’ to get a space in there at any given time? I am a FTM at 32 weeks and at the moment (touch wood) I am considered low risk.
I would love to be able to have my baby here. I’ve heard amazing things.
