Swimming

Hey! I’m taking my baby swimming for the first time and I’m super nervous! Any advice? Like can I take the pram in and leave at the side? Help a new mumma out 😭

Baby sleep

Leap 3 and sleeping more?

My son was born 1/9 and is 12 weeks old. He woke up a few more times than usual last night (just fussing and goes back to sleep when I give him his pacifier) but today he took an almost 3 hour nap and is still sleepy after a bottle. My first child was never a good sleeper and I didn’t keep track of leaps with her so I’m not sure what to think right now. I hope he’s not getting sick and it’s just a sleep adjustment with his growth.

Baby's temperature

How do you take your baby's temperature? I have an ear thermometer but I've read isn't accurate for newborns

Baby digestion

5 weeks started not pooing

My baby is breastfed with 4x60ml formula top ups per day. He is 5 weeks old. Since birth he has pooed around 10 times per day (mostly small yellow squirts after feeding). However he now hasn't pooed in nearly 48h and seems very unsettled. Overnight last night he was waking up every hour or less and could only be consoled on the boob but never fed longer than 6 mins (usual is 15-20).

I'm waiting for a callback off the GP but thought I'd ask on here as I thought I read a while ago that at the 6 week mark breastfed babies pooing naturally slows down...did I imagine this??

P.s. we use infacol with the top up formula feeds
