Premature babies in the UK 🇬🇧

They say that crying peaks at 6 to 8 weeks but my baby is 14 weeks (actual age) and 9 weeks corrective and all he does is cry or whinge all day. He fights his sleep too. He doesn’t always soothe when being held either. Anyone else experienced this and when does it get better?

I don't know if this is just me. Does anyone else find it weird to connect with other Mums who didn't have to go through the whole premature baby experience? I find it really difficult and isolating. Like how can they ever relate to not being able to bring your baby home and start your new life the very same day! That experience just seems so dreamy to me, like it wasn't my reality, like, at all. My reality felt like a horrible, cruel nightmare. Like my baby was not well when she was born. It was really scary and for what felt like a really long time as well... The whole thing just It feels weird now when chatting with other Mums

I know its different for every child and that we should not compare… but my baby born January 22nd 2025 @31+1 weeks spent 36 days in Nicu shes now 13 months and nearly 12 months corrected age. She babbles, crawls, cruises along everything but doesnt walk. When did you little ones start walking?

Hi all just wanted to show you all that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Nicu is hard especially if you doing it alone. But here i am listening to you or want to be my friend ? Add me. My boy was born 24 weeks 2 days I didn't think he would be ok but he is. He make me crazy and running around everyday and laughing and cuddles me alot he just turned 2 but he still 16 or 17 months corrected. He done well

My baby is 5.5 months but her corrected age is 3.5 months. She's started sleeping really well and I just don't know where she is developmentally with sleep? Should I be worried about a 4 month sleep regression or are we passed that stage?!! I'm tempted to try to get her to sleep in her own room in her new cot from when she turns 6 months, provided she continues to sleep well! What have others done?
