August 2024 rainbow babies 🌈🌈🌈

Since about 15 weeks, I’ve felt so much better about my pregnancy, and since my baby has started kicking, I’ve been feeling even better and more excited. But I find that once every week or two, something hits that brings me right back into the trauma of miscarriage, or the weight of two and a half years of struggling with infertility, plus a miscarriage, plus the challenges of pregnancy (and hormones) suddenly feel like too much to bear. When this happened this weekend I cried a lot, went swimming, slept a lot and am feeling better. But just wondering if others feel mostly good but have big feelings come back out of the blue. It can be pretty overwhelming and is wearing on my partner and I.

Got an ultrasound today at 3:45 pm, can’t wait 🥰 I’m having a boy!! Last ultrasound they said the blood around the sac had went away and he was measuring 6days earlier 🥹

Today is such a weird day. I’m 12 weeks pregnant which is typical ‘safe point’ but it is also the due date of my ectopic. It’s bitter sweet but also shows how lonely pregnancy loss is because only one person (bless her) has contacted me to see how I am. People remember due dates, but not of loss babies 👼

I couldn’t resist when I saw it 😂

We’re telling more and more people about our pregnancy but does anyone else constantly have this dread of ‘am I going to curse it?’ I feel like I’ve become the most superstitious person ever but so scared of losing another 🤍
