Kind of. My daughter's name is Ruby, but we got the idea from the show RWBY. Just used the normal spelling.

No but our cats are Midna and Zelda respectively. I was thinking of naming G AnnaMae in honor of her great-grandmothers but we thought too many would confuse it with Anime. When we were looking for names we wanted old world heritage names. Without too much stigma of being a weird name. I do know a Zeddicus though. Even though that's a book character.

I picked Lin from Spirited Away as a middle name for my first and I got bamboozled into Nico from One Piece (Nico Robin) for my second 🥴 my girlfriend was like I like Nico and I didn't know where it was from but thought it was cute and she waited til he was born to be like I GOT A ONE PIECE NAME IN and I about died laughing.

OMG I’m a huge WoW/Warcraft fan. Admittedly I don’t keep up with lore like I should but I don’t even know the name and I love it 😍 lol our son’s middle name is going to be Bishop which is actually a less popular x men character. Not quite video game but still nerdy lol

Not video game or anime, but if our baby had been a boy his name would have been Kalvin Elliot. We would have called him Kal-El..which is Superman's Kryptonian birth name. 🙂

No but I realized all of my kids names came from a book series...only one of them was on purpose 😂

We chose Sadie for our daughter after Red Dead.

Emmett after Doc Emmett Brown from Back to the Future and Arlo from The Good Dinosaur.
We did have Garrus from Mass Effect picked out though.

Planning to name my daughter Senua, Sen for short. She’s not technically named after Hellblade or Spirited Away, but that is where my husband and I first heard the names.

I wanted to name my daughter Kairi but my hubby wouldn't let me. He wanted to name our first boy (if we get one) Vegeta. I told him that if I can't use Kairi then he couldn't use Vegeta.
