30 weeks pregnant, but no one will hire me😩

I’m 30 weeks pregnant & every single job I go for tells me because I’m pregnant they don’t want to hire me. Me being pregnant has never affected my work ethic. Now, the job interview I have this Friday coming up has me very discouraged because I don’t want to be denied AGAIN! Also, I would be a front desk/receptionist sitting in a desk all day long and it’s part time. I just need advice on if I should even go or not.

Thanks for all the comments/advice! Interview went very well so fingers crossed I get it. Id just rather work then have to depend on someone else lol that’s just me.

It's I'm pretty sure that's illegal, but I get why. -_- you are 30wks, and 40 is term. They would train you and make all reasonable accommodations, then you would leave for maternity leave. It's the same dumb thing my fiance is going through. He's 61, and no one wants to hire him (in his field or anything for that matter) because of his age. He can technically retire soon, but most companies see people as investments vs human beings. That's probably more of the reason why, your pregnancy is just the "condition" to cause the issue. I'm not supporting their choices, but that is probably the reason why

They might be saying no just because it’s so late technically when you start a job you are on a 90 day, so they are seeing how you work for 90 days. So maybe they’re putting that into consideration because sometimes if someone is applying for a job and they’re leaving for school soon sometimes that job doesn’t hire them because they are leaving so soon.

Uber if you're looking for something part-time?

Unfortunately it happens. I would possibly look into daycares for providing Nanny services.
