So doctors found I had an ectopic pregnancy where the left fallopian tube burst and I had to have immediate surgery. I've had two c sections beforehand. The doctor told me afterwards that the right tube looked fine and I could still have kids. Anyone want to give some stories to help ease my mind? I'm going through a lot right now and I just need to know it really is possible to have another child.

On my feed 2 posts down the line, a mum announced her healthy 12 week scan after an ectopic. Don't give up, please, it happens to more women than you might think. I also lost my left tube and conceived from the right side within a year, healthy pregnancy, healthy baby. Please give yourself time to heal physically and emotionally. All the best!

Had my right tube removed in 2019…currently 21 weeks pregnant. Don’t give up hope.

That happened to my mom! I was supposed to have a fraternal twin, but the egg didn’t make it to uterus. Mom had an abdominal surgery for that (while pregnant with me) probably the same procedure you had. And I have an (unplanned) younger sister! 🥰

It is possible. I had my left tube rupture and had emergency surgery July 2020, I'm now 24 weeks.

I had never been pregnant before now and had been trying 11 months. Various tests all fine. Until I had a hycosy/tube flush. Turned out i had a blocked left tube. Right one was a little blocked too but managed to flush it through fine thankfully.

My grandma had multiple ectopic pregnancies, was told she'd never have more kids, so they adopted 2, then she had her miracle baby. Best of luck, I hope everything works out for you!
