Weird sleep at 2?

Hi guys, I've noticed that my daughter has picked up some weird sleeping habits after turning 2. Shes always been pretty great at putting herself to sleep when waking up at night but lately she's starting to take 2-3 hours to put herself to sleep. I only intervene if she cries but most of the time she's just tossing and turning in bed. Anyone experiencing the same thing? Anything I can do to fix this? I feel so bad watching her have a hard time falling asleep again.

Is this with regards to bedtime?

Yes. At bedtime.

As noted below, I have read there is a sleep regression. I started having this issue with my now 2 year old but it began before he turned 2. Many people told me to drop his nap or make it short which worked. He was out in seconds at bedtime 7pm. However, I'm struggling to keep on top of this as I hate waking up a sleeping child. At the moment I'm still figuring if this is a permanent thing or just a regression. Maybe try keeping nap time short to see if they go to sleep easier at night or you can grin and bear it. Alternatively, what I'm doing it having his naps short only if he's in the car because ultimately, it'll be cut short anyway when we arrive home. And if he naps at home, I leave him to it and accept he will go to bed late at night between 8pm and 10:30pm usually. I don't attempt to put him down at 7 unless he shows he's actually tired. Otherwise I'll just be attempting to get him to sleep for hours on end then just frustrating both of us in the process.

I think there’s a sleep regression around 2, my daughter turned 2 two weeks ago and have been a bit all over the place with sleep as well. She’s normally the most straight forward sleeper, so we read up a lot on the development during this time x
