How do doctors diagnose menopause? What tests do they run?

I need some help ladies. I don’t know where to begin. Would love to know what to ask for! Please help!!

Hey! Depends on your age... there's a test for FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) that can be done, but if you're over 45, then diagnosis should really be on your symptoms... your hormones fluctuate from one minute to the next, so oestrogen and progesterone level checks are pretty useless! ❤

If menopause was a male affliction there would be a pill for it...booo..lol (as I endure another hot flash) 😑🔥🔥🔥🤬🙃

I went to Dr. Barnthouse and he had my labs tested.

Blood work testing your hormone levels (progesterone, estrogen, testosterone).
