I’ve been putting breast milk and water on it but it seems to be getting worse. I’ve recently put him on formula so worried it might be an allergic reaction. Does anyone have any tips or ideas to help clear it. X

It will probably go away it just seems to happen to babies they have very sensitive skin after birth You can always call Dr. and ask them what you should do to help my daughter had a similar thing and it just went away on its own I didn’t put anything on it I just wanted to give her a little bath and water and that is it
Thank you! How long did it take for it to clear on your daughter? I can’t tell if it’s bothering him or not x

My 2nd son has CMA (cows milk allergy) and he got bad acne. It went away after putting him on a hypoallergenic formula. Or it could just be regular baby acne.

Both my babies got baby acne, I went to the doctors first time to get baby checked but it’s very common and actually passed on via hormones from mum during pregnancy. If it’s not causing any discomfort try to leave it alone and in a few months you’ll forget it was ever there 🙂
Thank you for all of your replies! I’m going to contact the doctor and see what he thinks but I’ll try just leaving his skin alone and hopefully it clears up for him Xx

Hi
My LO had this I just kept putting breast milk on it for days and days and it cleared.

Aww my baby just had this looked similar, I just put breast milk on it too and It cleared up after a couple weeks 😊 xx

Yep- super common. I freaked when it happened to my first child. It goes away within a week or two. Though I recommend limiting what you put on it other than breast milk. Certain creams and lotions only make it worse

Seems normal to me! I would stop with the water and breast milk because it shouldn’t be wet. My daughter had baby acne too and it went away on its own. You could put baby aquaphore or when your baby is ready to bathe, our pediatrician recommended head and shoulders which was a life savor for baby acne and cradle cap. Hope this helps!

That looks like an irritation rash maybe from laundry detergent??

It gets worse before it gets better and it's totally normal. It will fluctuate more as babies hormones change 😊
