I’ve always loved the name Priya but have no Indian roots to connect it to! Aliya, Celina, Ananya and Samita are some of the beautiful names that my Indian colleagues have and I just adore!

My niece is Mahalakshmi. We all just call her Mahala. It’s the goddess of prosperity I believe.

I also like the name Tara. It means star in Indian.
And Aarya which means respectful and noble one.

I had a few colleagues named Divya and I think it's pretty. I like Priya and Amaya mentioned above too. English speakers seem to only have trouble with really long names, for the most part.
