belly button piercing

My first pregnancy I woke up and my ring was next to me lol

When my normal metal one got too tight I got a flexible belly bar on Etsy, you can choose different lengths! I wore it even while I gave birth x

I took mine out when I hit 20 weeks. Baby is now almost 2 months and my piercing is still open, just haven't put the ring back in yet!

I should add that I've had mine pierced for 16 years lol

I took mine out at 9 weeks and never put it back in. The only place I have stretch marks on my belly is on my piercing site and it's pretty itchy and sensitive there. Certainly wouldn't want a piercing in there!

I took mines out around 4 months

I took my out about three months in. Then I had an emergency c-section and they took all but my tongue webb piercing out b/c they couldn’t get it out. I ended up getting by belly button repierced a year later

Mine was in whole time through out pregnancy

I wore my regular barbel until it was uncomfortable, then I got the flexible belly bar at tattoo/piercing shop. I took it out for my C-section. I kept it out the 1st week after and would just put it in every few days to make sure it was stating open. I put my regular barbel back in at 3mo pp.

Im still wearing mine, I’m 21 weeks! It’s a flexible one though so i dont know if that’s making a difference but i dont really notice it at all, not sure what I’m going to do as I progress farther but I figured if it starts to bug me I’ll just take it out

I took mine out at 18 weeks and haven’t put it back in. It’s closed over. Had it for over 20 years.

I tried to keep both mine in as long as possible and they got really irritated and sore even with plastic pregnancy bars (I had both the top and bottom bit pierced). My bottom piercing ended up literally tearing away from the skin cause it was that irritated and stretched so now I don’t have that pierced just a scar 😂 I took my top one out when I was about 35 weeks and it stayed open for me to put a bar back in when I had my son x

Funny story...When I had noticed my belly starting to stretch out a lot to the point it looked almost uncomfortable personally I just took mine out. About a week after I gave birth out of complete curiosity (with no intension of my belly piercing hole still being there or open) I grabbed my piercing to see if anything would happen and it just popped right through like nothing 😂

Took mine out at around 12 weeks but wish I hadn’t as it’s the only place I got stretch marks due to the fresh scar tissue 🙈

I tried really hard to keep mine in, I got a bunch of pregnancy ones and for a bit it worked until I got allergic to a plastic one bc I forgot I was allergic to latex 🥴 then it was just uncomfortable with any other one so I just took it out completely…

I took mine out and it went in easily a few weeks after labour x

Changed to a pregnancy one, but wish I'd done it sooner, poor thing was a little squashed for a while and still doesn't look too good.

I kept my normal Belly rings in until I started to get big and then switched over to the pregnancy ones. I recommend using the balls for the regular one though. For some reason, all the pregnancy ones kept falling out on me.
