Postpartum Complications

Have any mamas been dealing with postpartum granulation tissue? I started observing pain and light bleeding at 5months pp,visited obgyn and she suggested to remove it surgically, so we removed it as we thought that’s what best for me instead of going the pain every time.
I started bleeding again and passing tissue, now I’m terrified. Surgical removal was painful procedure
How was yours treated or did it go away on its own

Omg I’m so sorry, that sounds awful. I have some granulation tissue and my OB said if it bothers me, she’ll treat it with silver nitrate (kind of burn it off) but luckily mine doesn’t bother me too much, just every once in a while I feel some minor pinprick pains. I plan on having another baby soon so I figured I’d just wait to see how I feel after that, and maybe have it treated at that time.
I really hope yours gets resolved soon! If it doesn’t, don’t give up— find the right doctor or treatment….you deserve to enjoy your body and not have pain!

I had this after my 2020 baby. They used silver nitrate to burn it off. It really sucked but I also turned down getting a shot to numb it first. That fixed it and it doesn’t bother me anymore, it took a week or two to heal.
