When do babies eyes change colour?

Our doc said baby had 6 months to decide. My son was born with navy blue eyes and they lightened up to bright blue.

My little girl was born with dark blue eyes by 1 they was pale grey/blue lightest colour eyes I’ve ever seen she’s seven now and still has pale grey/blue eyes

Our baby girl is 18 weeks and they stil are bright blue. Dad has blue I have hazel.
However, my eyes stayed blue till I was like a year old …

I was told they could change up until they’re 3 years old, but the colour they are on their first birthday tends to be what stays

My daughter is now 10 months, both me and her daddy have green eyes but she’s got the most beautiful vivid blue eyes! Blue is a very prominent colour so if you have any close family members with blue eyes then they could stay. My dad has blue eyes, his brothers and sister all do, both sets of my grandparents do and my husbands mum, Nan, grandad and uncle all have very blue eyes! I’m hoping they stay 💙 xx

They normally change by 6 months mine all had blue eyes when born an they now all have a different shade of green baby’s are still blue but have gone from bright blue to a grey blue but she’s only 4 months

Depends really. My oldest had blue eyes until 1, they changed to hazel at 1 until 2 and at 2 they changed to brown.

Most peoples can take up to a year I believe. However I'm 25 and my eyes still change depending on the light exposure. I have grey eyes which is rare and reflect light so they can appear more blue, green, hazel etc depending on the lights around me

My husband has brown eyes and I have hazel eyes. When my son was born he had dark bluish-hazel eyes. They lightened up probably around 6-8 months and have since stayed a lighter hazel color with a streak of yellow (like mine). He's two now. So I think the color set for him far before he turned one.
