Me and my month old recently started going on walks and since it’s getting hot outside I need to get some sunscreen. Does anyone have any recommendations on good baby sunscreen for sensitive skin?

I like aveeno baby. But I’d check with a dr before using it on a baby that small. I started using it around 4 months

Following, also curious about sensitive skin brands for later on! I was always told keep babies out of direct sunlight / not use sunscreen until they are 6 months. Everyone says something different 🤷🏽♀️

6 months for sunscreen

My pediatrician recommended blue lizard sunscreen after 6 months, and UV clothes and staying out of direct sunlight for now. Also using a lightweight muslin/swaddle blanket over the stroller provides like SPF 10 she said as well.

Snoozeshade has UV protection

My little one has a sleep and play onesie in that exact same pattern!!! 🤩
Sorry for the randomly distracting, unhelpful comment in your thread!

I was told it's not recommended until after 3 months I believe it was.

I was told to wait until 6m be careful with blankets even light muslin cloth over the stroller the inside can increase the inside temp up to 20 degrees, try to keep baby in the shade, I have a fan attached to the stroller and a misting water bottle

My pediatrician says nothing under 4 months for sure and try to avoid until 6 if possible! Then he suggests the Avon skin so soft that’s a bug and sunscreen combo. When I take my daughter outside I keep her covered with a light blanket in the shade with a fan on her if it’s hot out! I try to avoid the peak sun times when the uv index is really high so we typically do our walks in mid morning or the evening!!

It's not recommended to use suncream until 6 months. Personally I would keep baby out of the sun completely and get a sunshade for the pushchair x

If you're in a pinch, diaper cream lol the zinc in it protects them

Not sure if they do it in the US, but we use Child’s Farm sun lotion for babies and it’s great.

No advice, but he is a dreamboat 🥰

Usually the sunshade on the stroller is a UV blocking material. We also have a stroller fan that’s really handy.
I have Think Baby sunscreen for when my LO gets to 6 months.
