A: Each baby is unique so there isn't a set number of naps simply based on a baby's age. All babies have unique sleep needs- some babies need more sleep and some babies need less sleep. Some babies can handle longer wake windows while others need shorter wake windows. This affects how many naps a baby needs in a day. If you are interested in learning more about wake windows, sleepy cues, naps & nap transitions I have an eGuide on Wake Windows, Sleepy Cues, & Naps designed just for you! You will walk away from this guide feeling confident and knowledgable about your little one’s unique daytime sleep needs.
