Hello, Has anyone else had this dilemma? ⬇️
I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and me and my partner have started our ttc journey for a couple of months now. I’ve not been on any pills or hormonal contraception for over 4 years, so my body has regulated my periods itself. It was one of the symptoms I spotted for PCOS.
I’m 6 days late this month, and have done a pregnancy test which came back negative.
I’m wary if my periods have become irregular again it will really make our ttc journey hard 🙄🤷♀️

Unfortunately pcos poses irregularities with periods. Some times they can become normal for a while and then go off track again. Are you tracking lh hormone with the test strips? Are you checking bbt as well? I tried for 5 years and then started taking myo inisitol and d-chiro and it helped with ovulation. I did have 2x miscarriages but that was more than i had in 5 years, im now currently 35 weeks and got put on progesterone at the start 🤞🤞🤞

I'm in the same boat, I'm 27 in August. I've been with the same partner for 11 years without one pregnancy, I'm having to take the IVF route so I'll keep you updated if you like ❤

Personal question do you have weight issues? I lost 3 stone and they became regular

PCOS can be tricky !! So I did two iui cycles and both failed, I was tracking my LH and it said I was ovulating….but I wasn’t !! I had a fat cyst !! In the end I did go down ivf and currently 21 weeks pregnant, my iui was medicated too 😒 ….if you are trying for a while and think you not ovulating or takes you longer to ovulate, you can always see you doctor and they can prescribe medication to help……best of luck to you xx

Try taking inositol. You can get the supplements off Amazon as well. They help with ovulating and have also helped my periods so much. My periods were all over the place and now exactly 28 days. Feels like a miracle.

Hey love , when you get a chance research maca root. Try looking at some videos on YouTube. My friend used this and she has PCOS and conceived very quickly. I’m using it now and it’s helped with my cycle hopefully I’m next to conceive. Good luck to you !

Myo inositol like everyone said above can help with regulation of your periods if they have become irregular. You should ask your doc to do some baseline blood tests to see that you are ovulating, as even with a regular/fairly regular period you may not be. There are drugs that can help such as clomid or letrozole that you could speak to your doctor about. Good luck!

Just want to say I have PCOS, really irregular cycles… 90 days + sometimes. And have just tested positive. I’ve read so many of these threads in the past and got disheartened, but don’t ever tell yourself you can’t! It will happen when it wants to.

Saw a lot of meds suggested and no herbs / holistic methods. Look into this product, read reviews, research the ingredients and see if it’s something that could help your journey https://praybiotics.com/products/pcos
