Ugh

Oh man! That sounds so tough, especially with a newborn! I would cry too!
I’m thankful that my in-laws helped out. My fil called the repairman and my mil showed him the fridge while I was working.

In the military, it’s called the deployment curse. Everything goes wrong when your spouse is deployed. And now that my husband is out of the military and is a pilot, it seems like everything goes wrong when he’s on a trip. Our dishwasher broke a month ago and I’ve had a repair person out here twice but each time they take it apart they find a new problem. I’m waiting for a new part to arrive. My hub got into a car accident right before he left on a trip, he’s OK which is good, but I have to deal with getting the car towed and insurance and repairs. And a close friend of mine passed away, and I will be going to the funeral by myself because my husband has been denied time off to go to the funeral. It’s been a rough month. We moved to a new place and don’t have good friends or family nearby. That makes it harder.
