my sons 8weeks old born but 34weeks in the belly
my sons 8 weeks old (34 weeks in belly) and currently in NICU but hes stats keep going up & down, currently trying to bottle feed but after feeds via tube or bottle he gets so restless & arches hes back, heavy breathing etc,
hes on sma prem 1 but they think it could be due to reflux? has anyones baby had this if so how do they fix it?

Mine too he was born at 33 weeks we feed him sitting up right I used natural gas and reflux drops
i got told to feed my son laying on he side but hes so hard to wind he just crys and scrunches hes legs up to hes stomach x

Prem babies are particularly susceptible to reflux, mine had it and was prescribed omeprazole which helped. I also held her upright whenever I was there and they did tube feeds which I think helped too. Sadly the only real cure for reflux is age and they ‘grow’ out of it at some point.
