Hello everyone! This is mostly questions for those who’ve had babies at birthways recently, but if you know answers please tell me! What do they supply to you? What are you allowed to bring home? What do I need to bring that the hospital won’t provide for me and my twins when they are here in a few months? I’m planning on trying to breastfeed if that changes any answers.

I’ve had all three of my boys there and they are amazing!!
Just a few things I can think ofThey provide the diapers and wipes.
They provided the little newborn gowns with the opening at the bottom for easy diaper changes. They also provided the sleep sac wraps for swaddling which are phenomenal! They have insulated tote bags that are free to take home with you and if I remember correctly there is one of the swaddle sleep sacks included in the bag for you to take home.
You would need an outfit to take baby home in. They also have a photographer that comes in and does a mini newborn session in your room. She does a wonderful job, so if you have a little outfit or prop to include in photos I would pack that.
For yourself I would take very few things. Shower stuff. I took a nursing gown to change into instead of the hospital gown. Some comfortable clothes to go home in. They provide you with the very thick pads and send you home with some extra. I hope this helps!

Hope this helps! Good luck with labor and delivery!

You can ask for things like heat packs (for stomach cramping while breast feeding), ice packs, witch hazel pads, nipple cream, and nipple soothies. It seemed like some nurses would offer them, but you didn’t really know what they had available until you asked. They’ll give you socks and disposable underwear right away, too. During labor I had some chills and asked for a heated blanket! It was amazing!
