So I'm about 13 weeks post partum. Both my follow up appointments with the OB said I was healing nicely. I wear regular fruit of the loom women's cotton granny panties'. The elastic waistband sits exactly where my C-section scar is. The last few days it's been bothering me and tonight I noticed I started bleeding from the scar line. What do I do?Do I resort to buying all ultra high waisted granny panties? ALL ADVICE IS WELCOME

Yes! They are SO comfortable! I am almost five months past caesarean surgery and I still wear them. My regular panties irritate my scar. I’ve purchased two packs of these so far because the comfort is incredible. Need to add some variety though.

I’m only 8 weeks pp but I’ve been wearing my maternity panties the whole time as they sit much higher, on the odd occasion I haven’t done the laundry quick enough I find that my lower panties irritate the scar. So if you have any maternity ones try those.

yeah you’ll want to wear higher waist ones or more the no show material that is light on the scar till it’s completely healed. once it is completely headed though you can go back to your typical ones.
By 6m I could go back to whatever.. I had my girl 9m ago and occasionally my scar will be itchy if it’s constantly rubbed on, but it doesn’t hurt or anything and stopped after 5-6m

Aerie has amazing comfy high rise seamless undies. I’ve been wearing them since my C-section because my regular ones irritate my scar as well

I had a c-section late July and hate when my waistband touches my scar, I do what most of the replies suggest I buy high waisted underwear

I also agree aerie had the comfiest undies!! It’s all I wear post c section.

Lace top undies for me. That way at least I feel pretty lol
